What does a roof inspection cover?
We assess the roof covering, ridge and verge, flashings, the roofline and chimney where present, and check inside the loft where access allows.
Will you tell me if the roof is fine?
Yes. We would rather tell you a roof has years left in it than sell you work you do not need, and we say so plainly in the report.
Do I need an inspection before buying a house?
A homebuyer survey often flags the roof only in general terms. A dedicated inspection gives you specific findings you can act on or negotiate with.
How long does an inspection take?
Most domestic roofs take under an hour on site. The written report follows shortly afterwards.
